My Story

Wife:  03.12.16. I married my high school sweetheart, Zach. Being a wife has been better than I ever could have imagined. It’s not always easy, but I wouldn’t want to go through this journey with anyone else.

Registered Nurse: “They may forget your name but they will never forget how you made them feel.” –Maya Angelou. Taking care of others fills a hole in my soul. 

Traveler: I’ve been extremely fortunate to travel a lot growing up. My parents will never understand how grateful I am that they took my siblings and I to so many different destinations. As I become an adult I pretty much work just to take trips and go on adventures!

Fur-mommy: I have two sweet fur babies. Slate (a black lab) & Lily (a mini dachshund). They are my pride and joy, if you’re around me long enough you’ll surely see a picture or video of them.

Raised in a small town in north Florida, I’ve been southern at heart my whole life. As anyone else, my life so far has been full of joys, challenges, successes, trials and blessing after blessing. In 2009 at 16 years old my mama and best friend succumbed to cancer. At that point in life I had two options… give up and quit   OR   work harder than ever to become the best I can be and continue her legacy. I chose the latter.

In my life, I hope to be the light to anyone who needs it. I pray daily that God will use me to make a difference. Even if my story only reaches one single soul.
